You've been managing it for so long that you've almost convinced yourself this is just how you're wired. It isn't. We want to help you get to the root of what's keeping you stuck and build a life that doesn't revolve around managing symptoms.

Dr. Ocegueda helps clients untangle their relationship with food and their bodies, with warmth and zero judgment. Medicine asks more of its people than any profession should, and the culture that surrounds it makes it nearly impossible to admit when you're struggling. Dr. Montgomery has worked alongside physicians in the PICU, emergency room, and on the floor, and she understands your world from the inside. This is a space where you don't have to explain yourself, translate your experience, or pretend you're fine.

You've worked incredibly hard to get where you are, and somehow it still doesn't feel like enough. The exhaustion, the pressure to perform, the loneliness of being at the top, these are real and they deserve real attention. Drs Montgomery and Ocegueda work with high achieving women who are ready to stop white-knuckling it and start building a life that actually feels like theirs.

For many high achieving adults, a late ADHD or autism diagnosis isn't a limitation. It's a relief. Gentle Anchor offers comprehensive adult psychological evaluations including clinical interview, standardized testing, and a collaborative review of findings so you leave with real clarity about how your brain works and why.
Pricing & Fees
Investing in your mental health is one of the most meaningful things you can do for yourself. I am an out-of-network provider and am no longer accepting new insurance clients. Full payment is due prior to each session, and clients are responsible for the full cost of their care.
That said, many insurance plans include out-of-network benefits that can offset the cost of therapy. I provide superbills upon request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential partial reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by plan and typically range from 50 to 80%, though no specific reimbursement amount is guaranteed. I recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of time to understand your out-of-network benefits.

Evaluation Fees
A comprehensive adult psychological evaluation, including clinical interview, standardized testing, written report, and collaborative results review session, is $1,500.
This fee covers the full evaluation process from intake through results review. It does not cover additional services that may be requested or required beyond the scope of the standard evaluation. Additional fees may apply in the following circumstances:
Additional written letters, summaries, or documentation requested beyond the standard report
Extended collateral contact that requires significant additional time, such as multiple attempts to reach informants or lengthy collateral interviews
Requests for additional testing beyond the standard evaluation battery
Consultation calls or meetings beyond the included results review session
Rush processing or expedited report turnaround
Any anticipated additional fees will be discussed with you transparently before additional work is undertaken. There will be no surprises on your invoice.
A 50% deposit of $750 is due at the time of scheduling to reserve your evaluation date. The remaining balance is due prior to the release of your report. Evaluations are not billed through insurance, but a superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan includes psychological testing benefits. We recommend calling your insurance provider in advance to ask about your out-of-network benefits for psychological testing, referenced under CPT codes 96130 and 96131.

Occasionally, I take on practicum students completing their doctoral training in psychology. Working with a trainee is a wonderful way to access care at a reduced rate, and all sessions are closely supervised by me. It's not the right fit for everyone, but if you're curious, I'd love to chat about whether it might work for you!
